Say hello to Alev, the four-legged soul of the café and our constant source of love and joy. She’s more than a café mascot, she’s our partner, our heartbeat, and everyone’s favourite face to see at the door.

Alev is a sweet and sassy Turkish Chihuahua, full of love, character, and just the right amount of diva energy. She may be small, but she’s got a huge personality and an even bigger appetite for her favourite treat: Grilled Chicken!

Always tucked close beside Cheryl, Alev played a huge part in keeping the family strong through tough times, especially after Ian’s accident. Her love, loyalty, and cuddles gave strength when it was needed most, and she continues to be the heartbeat of everything we do here at Alev’s of Tynemouth.

Now, she’s the café’s proud little partner – greeting guests, accepting belly rubs, and bringing smiles to everyone she meets.
